What is the best mini laptop availible?

I am looking for one of those little netbooks, and I love them because of their portability and cheapness. I am using them for journalism ( I write for my towns newspaper, and I want to be able to take notes and wirte my reports right there at the event) and probably some web surfing. I want at least 1GB memory. Ive narrowed it down to a few:

HP – Mini Netbook with Intel® Atom™ Processor N270
Features: 3 cell battery, 1 GB memory, webcam, 8.9" inch screen, and I really like the look of this one. Not too sure about the 8.9 inch screen, and it only has a 16 GB solid state HDD.

Acer – Aspire One Netbook with Intel® Atom™ Processor N270
Features: 3 cell battery, 1GB memory, 8.9" screen, 160 GB built in harddrive. This one is very highly rated, and I prefer a built in HDD to a SSD. This is supposed to be one of the best ones out there.

MSI – Wind Netbook with Intel® Atom™ Processor N270
Features: 6 cell battery, 1GB memory, 10" screen, 160GB built in HDD. This one has a 6 cell battery, and I am really high on the 10 inch screen. 6 Cell batteries are often 100 dollars, and this comes with tthe laptop.

ALL THESE LAPTOPS HAVE A WEBCAM, AND THEY ALL COME PRE INSTALLED WITH XP. I MIGHT END UP INSTALLING LINUX, I’M NOT SURE.
HERE ARE THE PRICES:
THE ACER IS 300 BUCKS.
THE HP IS 300 BUCKS.
THE MSI IS 330 BUCKS.

    Acer:

Cramped keyboard that doesnt extend to the edge of the device.
    Small trackpad.
    Useless, dark webcam.
one long, rocker mouse button instead of 2 buttons

    MSI:

    Crappy keyboard layout.
    Questionable battery life.
One of the newer ones (u120 i think), you can upgrade the ram.

    HP:

    Bad mouse button placement.
Slow because of the 4200rpm hard drive.
bad screen resolution that’s not compatible with some apps.

There’s only one netook to get. It’s the number one selling on on Amazon. It’s the Asus 1000HE:

I would recommend HP. I have had good success with other HP products. I don’t have the HP mini personally, but I know someone who has one. He is really happy with it. Of course there are limitations, but this machine is great for what it claims and for the money.
