Uhh, hello? No moving parts in a mobile device that could get banged around. I don’t have an SSD in it anymore anyway because I found out that the one I have is cacheless while all hard drives now have cache as well as any SSD that has a chance of being good.

@sillychicken599 lol yea, starter is incredibly basic and boring, as soon as i build up my funds again ill go for home premium or pro. I find this netbook quite allot more useful than i thought, i’ve been using it as a very much quieter alternative to my desktop for watching videos and using the internet, just plug the desktops monitor and some other stuff and it turns into a nettop, too bad it doesn’t have a docking station to make the process easier

@smlshortdude it runs both just fine, but you’ll probably get better battery life with Windows XP. i’d still use 7 because Microsoft is trying to phase out XP.

hi, dunno if this is a stupid question or something, but do you like have to do something to get the touch pad to scroll? cauuse mine is like normal wherever i put my finger on the edges and stuff…

@TheGreatBunghole16 i have. it runs it pretty well. i’ve run linux mint on it a lot more though. mint is based on ubuntu though so it’s essentially the same thing

@TheMickeymouse4348 on the 3 cell in practicality it’s supposed to last like 2 and a half to 3 hours. the 6 cell battery lasts a long long time. i’ve gotten 5 hours out of it.

@kewlekul it’s a synaptics trackpad, so it does have edge scrolling which does work on linux as well. basically you put your finger on the right edge for up and down scrolling and along the bottom for horizontal scrolling

@wrdomoraskyhotmail no, not that sensative. i mean the hard drive having mechanical failure. basically a hard drive is a tiny record player. head moves along the discs inside that spin. you drop a netbook, that drive could be damaged.

@oo7som You must get it off the Microsoft Online Store via USB or standalone .exe file.
