Best Mini Laptop/Netbook For College Student?

I’m starting college this semester, studying the basics (english, math, physics, etc.) and I need a new laptop. I like the netbooks because they are compact and great for taking notes or keeping busy between classes. I just don’t know which one is the best choice. Dell, HP, Acer… Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks!

Suprisingly, to me, Consumer Reports gave an Acer mini a good rating. Look in the Feb 2010 Consumer Reports for evaluations.

go with a dell inspiron B130 notebook w 3 usb ports, overhead projector plug, and a dvd cd-rom reader combo with windows xp home edition, then get wmp 11!

and it’s bigger than a mini laptop "more hand room"

I would recommend to go with ASUS netbook
ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005HA-PU17-BK 10.1-Inch Black Netbook – 10.5 Hours of Battery Life
